Hakuna Matata

Last Friday Serious Chord Squad had a gig at The Cedar Tree in Bagshot. We've played there quite a few times now and we always have great reaction there. We knew beforehand it would be full as FB and Twitter were buzzing with interest. We were surprised that a few old friends turned up to see us and it was a great night, great atmosphere.

also, this week I was asked to stand in at the last minute to play bass on a school production of The Lion King. Another reading job but after a couple of last minute rehearsals with the band everything gelled and the performance on the night went extremely well.

Thanks to Sean Cooke from the Mod Show on Radio Woking for the continued support. He played a couple of tracks from our recent recordings, "Get Ready" and "Ghost in my House". We're also getting into the promotion for The Mods for Millie Charity Day at The Blue Anchor in Byfleet on Easter Saturday 26th March. Interest is building and we have some solo spots by Chris Pope from The Chords and Enzo Esposito from Squire.
