Rocking Out with The Bitter Springs

Saturday's gig with The Bitter Springs went down a storm. Thanks to everyone who travelled to watch. Next gig already lined up for SATURDAY 15th OCTOBER at the Wilmington Arms in Clerkenwell, London. More details to the right of this post.

A couple of Youtube videos have now surfaced of the Brighton gig of Portrait of a Marriage and Benny Hills' Wardrobe.

Also there's a gig lined up for Thursday 22nd October in Madrid at the city's number one arts centre.

Photo Session

Next stage in getting the CD produced is photographs. I used one of those "Groupon" special offers to get a cheap photo session for £20 over in Shepherd's Bush.

They were very professional but I came away with a couple of images but not the one I wanted so I'll have to rebook somewhere else. I'm sure that will be a bit more expensive but it has to be the right photo.

Recording Finished!

I've now finished recording the album. The mastering process has been done and all of the 14 tracks are sounding great. It's a relief to get that part out of the way.

The next thing to do is get some photos done and get the artwork started. Once this is done I can apply for for a pressing licence from The MCPS.

The original finish date was due to September 2011, however things always take longer then you can imagine. I wouldn't be suprised that it won't be ready until January 2012.

More news.....

There's going to be a Bitter Springs gig in Madrid at the end of October. Also, the Beatles Tribute band is hotting up as there are some gigs in the pipeline. The first of which is a charity gig at the White Lion in Streatham on SATURDAY 30th SEPTEMBER. Onstage around 7pm.
